Its summit is the highest point in Shenandoah National Park, and the rocky lookout area at the top clears the way for scenic views, with no vegetation blocking the vista. Even if it’s a busy day in the park, there is tons of room at the summit for everyone to spread out with enough personal space to relax and enjoy the moment. Nothing beats catching the sunset here.

Soak up the sun in Oceancity, MD:
If you’re feeling a beach day, it’s worth the 2.5 hours out to Oceancity, MD to enjoy ten miles of beautiful, white sand. Bring the sunscreen, and take a stroll on the iconic Ocean City Boardwalk, one of the most famous on the East coast. It’s home to amazing hotels, raved about restaurants and an array of fun attractions. The Ocean City Boardwalk is three miles long and perfect for a bike ride stroll with friends, any time of day. There’s always something going on along the boardwalk, especially during the summer. The Jolly Roger Amusement Park on the southern end of the boardwalk is a lasting symbol of Ocean City fun, with amusement park rides, games and entertainment for everyone.
